Dosing

Dosing for animals is a complex matter because pets vary so much in size, breed, and symptoms, and they can not use words to describe how they are feeling.  Keep in mind the CBD has much different effects in low doses vs high doses.

Always consult with your veterinarian if your pet is on other medications to make sure they won’t interfere.

A good way to start is to give your pet 2mg for every 10 pounds of body weight twice per day.  You can gradually increase the amount every week until the desired effects are achieved.  Make sure you monitor your pet to see how he or she is reacting to the CBD.  Keep in mind even pets can not overdose and die from CBD.

Administering to pets. After you have found the proper dose for your pet you can give it to your pet with the dropper directly in their mouth.
